Two East Productions Inc. is a Canadian independent film and television production company based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Formed in 2008 by the writer-producer team of Michael Amo and David MacLeod, Two East’s mission is to create and produce entertaining, provocative drama for national and international distribution.

 

"Pure" tells the story of Noah Funk, a newly-elected Mennonite pastor, who is determined to rid his community of drug traffickers by betraying a fellow Mennonite to the police.

Michael Amo has written and created numerous award winning drama projects including the prime time drama series THE LISTENER seen on CTV, NBC and Fox International. A veteran producer of multiple international television series, David MacLeod is a founding partner and president of Nova Scotia’s Big Motion Pictures, which brought productions like TRUDEAU, OCTOBER 1970, CALL ME FITZ, and HAVEN to screens across Canada and around the world. David serves on the board of directors for Screen Nova Scotia, and is the former Chair of the Canadian Media Production Association.

Two East recently completed season 2 of the Amo-created 6 X 1 hr. ongoing series “PURE” currently airing on WGNa in the US and Superchannel in Canada.
